(Nov. 10, 2011) &mdash; Gov. Mark Dayton has proclaimed the week of Nov. 14 as Minnesota College Application Week.<\/p>\n<p>In honor of Minnesota College Application Week, Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ (Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ) and Northwest Technical College (NTC) will be waiving the application fee, Nov. 14 &ndash; 18, 2011, for all Minnesota high school students.<\/p>\n<p>This week will provide a framework for high schools and postsecondary institutions to collaborate in a concentrated effort to engage and inform students across the state about the college application process.&nbsp; The main goal of this initiative at the high school site is to increase the number of all students completing a college application, with a special focus on first-generation college goers.<\/p>\n<p>For more information about Minnesota College Application Week or applying to Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ contact Mary Jo Chirpich at (218) 755-2040.&nbsp; For more information about applying to NTC contact Kari Kantack Miller (218) 333-6645.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>BEMIDJI, Minn.
