Most of the humorous country songs actually depict tragic or sad stories. She will use descriptions of medieval philosophy and literature to explore ways of viewing this. Webber will focus on how humor acts differently in country music.

The lecture will begin at 6 p.m. in Hagg Sauer Hall, room 112. It is free and open to anyone who wants to attend.

Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ the honors council lecture series

The Honors Council Lecture Series is hosted by the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Honors Council, the advisory group to Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ’s honors program.
