This year’s Minnesota Student Filmmakers competition features 15 films by 16 students from Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ, Minnesota State University Moorhead, Minnesota State University Mankato and the University of Minnesota. Three entries were produced by Bemidji State students, and Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ student Judson Tharin collaborated on three entries with University of Minnesota student Will Nordstrom.<\/p>\n

Colorado Environmental Film Festival<\/h4>\n
The Colorado Environmental Film Festival features films and dialogue that raise awareness of a wide variety of interconnected ecological, social and economic themes. The festival’s goal is to have its audiences leave feeling as if they can be a part of the solution to environmental problems.<\/p>\n
The Syros Summer Seminar<\/h4>\n
The Syros Summer Seminar, held on the Greek island of Syros, is an intensive 10-day workshop on journalism, new media, culture and the creative economy that accepts only 25 graduate and advanced undergraduate students from around the world each year.<\/p>\n
