Tickets to the banquet are available for $22 per person by calling the Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ Alumni Office at (218) 755-3989.<\/p>\n<p>The Education Hall of Fame honors University graduates who have demonstrated excellence in the profession and have been  named either a teacher of the year or administrator of the year.<\/p>\n<p>The 2009 inductees into the hall of fame are:<br>\n &bull; Connie Bishop; Plummer, Minn.; Red Lake County Central Elementary School<br>\n &bull; Larry Guggisberg; Roseau, Minn.; Roseau Community Schools<br>\n &bull; Christopher Mills; Stephen, Minn.; Stephen\/Argyle Central<br>\n &bull; Robert Nyberg; Two Harbors, Minn.; Two Harbors High School<br>\n &bull; Terry Sunde; Holdingsford, Minn.; Holdingsford Junior\/Senior High School<\/p>\n<p>Connie Bishop has been named Minnesota Teacher of the Year for the Oklee School District and received a Minnesota School of Excellence Award during her distinguished educational career. She has also received a Minnesota Rural Education Profile in Excellence award and has won the Minnesota Agriculture in the Classroom award twice.<\/p>\n<p>Larry Guggisberg is the superindentant of the Roseau, Minn., public schools and in 2005-06 was named the District 32 Superintendant of the Year. He also as named Northern Division Assistant Principal of the Year in 1993.<\/p>\n<p>Christopher Mills has been the superintendant of schools for Stephen\/Argyle Central Schools since 2000. He was the District 32 Administrator of the Year for 2004-05 and is the newly-elected chair of the Minnesota Rural Education Association&rsquo;s Legislative Action Committee.<\/p>\n<p>Robert Nyberg has been the principal of Two Harbors High School since 1998. In 2006 he was named Principal of the Year for the northeast division of the Minnesota Association of Secondary School Principals.<\/p>\n<p>Terry Sunde began teaching at Holdingsford in the fall of 1969, developing and teaching courses in biology, chemistry, seventh grade life science and ninth grade physical science.
