They are open free to the public unless otherwise noted.<\/p>\n<p><strong>May 20: Interactive discussion on carbon tax and carbon trading<\/strong><br>\nRail River Folk School will host Tom Goldtooth, executive director of the Indigenous Environmental Network, and Brett Cease, community leader and former MN GreenCorps member, for a conversation on the topics of carbon trading and carbon-tax policies. The pair will be leading a discussion on these complex issues and their societal and economic implications for the world.<\/p>\n<p>Sustainable Tuesdays are a partnership between Bemidji State&rsquo;s Sustainability Office, the Indigenous Environmental Network, Minnesota GreenCorps and the Rail River Folk School.
