Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ isn’t just asking the Beaver fans to “Go Green” this spring. It’s asking them to go to The Green & White – a dinner and auction to benefit Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ athletics Saturday, April 12, in the Sanford Center<\/i><\/a> arena.<\/p>\n

\"Green&White3_caps\"<\/a>“The Green & White is a new and creative way to generate revenue that will allow future funding for Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ student-athletes and their teams. With the help of many volunteers who care deeply about Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ, the dinner and auction will be a wonderful evening to socialize and share in the dreams of our students,” said Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Tracy Dill<\/i><\/a>.<\/p>\n

An impressive array of more than 80 silent auction items will kick off the event followed by dinner and a live auction. Live auction items include the opportunity to dine with top Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ hockey players Matt Read<\/i><\/a> ’11 and Erin Cody ’11, two tickets to watch Read play for the Philadelphia Flyers<\/i><\/a> and a two-night stay at the Radisson Blu Warwick Hotel in historic downtown Philadelphia.<\/p>\n

If that’s not enough, alumni Trent ’87 And Beth ’89 Baalke have put together a dream package for any sports fan. The package for four includes tickets to watch five-time Super Bowl champion San Francisco 49ers<\/i><\/a> at the new Levi’s Stadium<\/i><\/a> in Santa Clara – from general manager Trent Baalke’s personal suite. The winners of this package also will receive four pre-game field passes, four passes for a post-game barbeque with 49ers players and staff, one parking pass, 49ers game-day gear for the group and two night’s hotel accommodations (two rooms) at the 49ers’ team hotel, the Santa Clara Marriott.<\/p>\n

The event will feature electronic bidding during the silent auction. Bidders will be able to keep tabs on their bids on their phones. Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ student athletes and coaches will be on hand to meet and mingle with fans.<\/p>\n

This event was created to support Bemidji State student-athletes, who pursue their academic and athletic dreams while proudly wearing the Green and White.<\/p>\n
