Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ understands the rising cost of higher education and is committed to offering a variety of scholarship opportunities to as many students as possible. More than 30 percent of all new entering students receive scholarships.<\/p>\n
Local students have accepted $2,000 University Scholarships from Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ for the 2013-2014 academic year. University Scholarships are two-year awards offering $1,000 per year in aid; recipients must maintain a grade-point average of 3.25 and be enrolled on a full-time basis.
\nTo receive a University Scholarship, students are required to have a 23 or higher score on their ACT and be in the top 50 percent of their graduating class, or have a GPA of 3.25 and above.
\nStudents must be admitted prior to Feb. 1 in order to receive scholarships for the fall semester of that year.<\/p>\n
Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ will present more than $2.3 million in academic, talent, and leadership scholarships this year. The awards are made possible through donations to the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Foundation, the Alumni Association, and other organizations that specify funds for such causes.<\/p>\n
