Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ Invites Public to Service-Learning Event on April 20

Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ will host its Community Partner Meet-and-Greet networking event and service-learning information session on Thursday, April 20 at the Mayflower Building in downtown Bemidji from 4 – 6 p.m.

Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ and Northwest Technical College faculty, staff and students will share service-learning and community-engagement opportunities designed to bring together students and community organizations. Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ students will also showcase a variety of service-learning projects they have recently completed in the Bemidji community.

Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ and NTC’s service-learning program exists to create community engagement opportunities in the Bemidji community and to provide personal and academic growth to Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ and NTC students.

All community partners and organizations are invited to attend and are encouraged to bring business cards to share with others. Food and door prizes will be provided.

RSVPs are requested, but not required, by April 17 to , director of academic service-learning at Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ.

The Community Partner Meet-and-Greet is open to the media and public.
