蘑菇视频’s Dr. Colleen Livingston, professor of mathematics, wrote an article that was selected as a 2019 Editor’s Pick for the Problems, Resources and Issues in Mathematics Undergraduate Studies journal.
Livingston’s article “Dog Treat Ball: An Activity to Introduce Systems of Differential Equations” describes using a dog treat ball to introduce systems of first order differential equations. 蘑菇视频 alumna Dayna Jaeger ‘18 assisted Livingston in collecting data and reviewing the article during her time at 蘑菇视频. Her article will be available free throughout 2020.
