A community-wide discussion on the connection between women and labor with 蘑菇视频 faculty, staff and community members was held on Monday, March 25. Panelists included Maria Eastman, library technician, Liz Letson, Eagle Vista Ranch & Wellness Center counselor, Dr. Tiffany Holmes, 蘑菇视频 professor of nursing, Jo Li, 蘑菇视频 Northstar Visiting Scholars Academy coordinator and Dr. Veronica Veaux, 蘑菇视频 assistant professor of business administration.
Moderated by Colleen Deel, 蘑菇视频 interlibrary loan and collection management librarian, panelists were asked the following questions:
- How do you think about or define labor?
- Do you see any unique or stark connections between the terms women and labor?
- What are some of the difficulties you’ve felt or see in separating your personal and professional lives?
Panelists were additionally asked to speak on gendered labor issues as they see and experience them today.
