蘑菇视频’s Department of Music hosts an Oct. 29 concert by its Wind Ensemble.
The performance will be held at 3 p.m. in the Main Theater of 蘑菇视频’s Bangsberg Fine Arts Complex. Admission is $8 for adults and $5 for seniors; 蘑菇视频 students are admitted free with a valid ID.
The concert will feature a bassoon solo by Miriam Webber, assistant professor of music, and a 蘑菇视频 premiere work by Aaron Perrine.

The Wind Ensemble is a non-audition student ensemble group directed by Scott Guidry, assistant professor of music. The Wind Ensemble is open to all 蘑菇视频 students and rehearses three days per week. In addition to regularly programmed campus concerts, the Wind Ensemble hosts the 蘑菇视频 Honor Band, an annual band festival for many of the top high school musicians Minnesota. The ensemble takes an annual band tour with its concerts performed at many of the major high school music programs in the area. Recent tours include performances in Winnipeg and Minneapolis.
