
Through a series of articulation agreements signed Oct. 10, students who complete associate’s degrees in one of 15 programs offered by now have a direct path to a bachelor’s degree from Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ.
Dr. Faith C. Hensrud, president of Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ and Northwest Technical College, joined Kent Hanson, president of Anoka Technical College and Anoka Ramsey Community College, at a signing ceremony today in Anoka, Minn., to formalize the agreements.
Hensrud was joined by Lyle Meulebroeck and Dr. Mike Lund, both assistant professors of technology, art and design at Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ, and Dan Voss, articulation coordinator for Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ’s College of Business.
Under the series of articulation agreements, students in 15 programs Anoka Technical College now have direct paths to three different bachelor of applied science programs in Bemidji State’s .
Graduates from Anoka’s mechanical drafting & design technology; landscape technology; biomedical equipment technician; electrical engineering technology; CNC manufacturing technology; software development; network analyst; business data technician; game programming; convergence technology; database design & development; mobile development; and web design & development programs can transfer directly into Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ’s applied engineering or applied management programs, either online or on campus.
Students in Anoka’s architectural technology program can seamlessly advance to Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ’s applied engineering or applied management programs, either online or on campus, or into Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ’s on-campus bachelor of science in project management program.
Golf course management students at Anoka Tech can transfer into Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ’s online or on campus applied management program.
Students who fulfill Anoka Technical College’s graduation requirements for the participating 72-credit programs will transfer to Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ and complete 67 credits to receive their bachelor’s degrees. The articulation agreements are effective for five years, until July 2022.
