Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ understands the rising cost of higher education and is committed to offering a variety of scholarship opportunities to as many students as possible. More than 30 percent of all new entering students receive scholarships.
Joliet native Cody Clevinger has accepted a $2,000 Director’s Scholarship from Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ for the 2013-2014 academic year.
Clevinger will be attending Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ, majoring in economics. He is also an Eagle Scout and an Illinois State Scholar. He has received a silver medal from the National Spanish Exam and has been on the B Honor Roll at Joliet Catholic Academy.
Students must be admitted prior to Feb. 1 in order to receive scholarships for the fall semester of that year.
Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ will present more than $2.3 million in academic, talent, and leadership scholarships this year. The awards are made possible through donations to the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Foundation, the Alumni Association, and other organizations that specify funds for such causes.
