Public input sought on profile of next Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ-NTC president

BEMIDJI, Minn. (Jan. 4, 2010) — Area residents are invited to share their ideas regarding the preferred professional and leadership qualities of the next president of Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ and Northwest Technical College. Public input will be sought at a guided discussion and listening session on Monday, Jan. 11 in Bemidji State’s Hobson Memorial Union. The session will begin at 7:30 a.m. in the lower union’s Ozawindib Room.

Dr. Jon E. Quistgaard, president of Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ and Northwest Technical College, recently announced his retirement, effective this coming summer.

Assisting with the national search for the next Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ-NTC president are Dr. Kate Will and Howard Jessamy, representatives of the search firm Witt Kieffer. The discussion and listening session is part of a two-day visit to Bemidji for the pair, Jan. 11-12. During the visit, they will meet with various constituent groups including area residents.
