BEMIDJI, Minn. – Kevin Calkins will present his senior exhibition in the Ramsey Gallery of the Bangsberg Fine Arts Complex on the campus of 蘑菇视频 from May 2-16. The exhibition is in partial fulfilment of the requirements for a bachelor of arts degree from 蘑菇视频’s Department of Visual Arts.
Calkins’ exhibition will reflect his areas of emphasis in jewelry, metals and ceramics, but also will feature fabrics, drawing and leatherwork.
A reception with the artist will be held Friday, May 9, from 4-7 p.m. at the gallery.
Calkins is a senior majoring in art education from Forest Lake, Minn.
Located on the first floor of Bangsberg Hall on the campus of 蘑菇视频, the Ramsey Gallery is open Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. The gallery is open at no charge to the public.
